WELCOME

Kevin Pearce was a devoted family man and a dedicated Metropolitan Toronto Police Officer who served for 33 years in roles ranging from uniformed patrol and plainclothes work to specialized units including fraud and homicide. His courage and lifesaving efforts earned him numerous commendations throughout his career. For more than 25 years, Kevin was also an active committee member with the Children’s Wish Foundation, living by the motto “family first” in a way that extended far beyond his own home and into the wider community. After retiring at the age of 52, Kevin looked forward to spending more time with his family and enjoying his lifelong passion for golf.

Fairway to Families First was established by Kevin’s wife Debbie, son Mike, daughter Kristin, and son-in-law Fraser as a tribute to his legacy of service, compassion, and community leadership. Our mission is to raise $100,000 toward the creation of a dedicated ICU room at the new Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. To achieve this, we have committed to hosting five annual tournaments over five years, uniting our community around a shared goal that will provide lasting support to families during their most critical moments. Last year, our inaugural tournament at Duntroon Highlands Golf Club exceeded expectations, raising $36,000 through the generosity of friends, family, local businesses, and community members. This year, we are proud to continue the journey with our second tournament at Cranberry Golf Course, building momentum and expanding our impact. Honouring Kevin’s memory through the creation of this ICU room reflects the values he lived by and creates a meaningful legacy that will benefit our community for years to come.
